Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina

Finished in Giallo Fly with contrasting Nero Hide

This 308 was originally supplied in Melbourne Australia in March 1977 by Ron Hodgson Specialist Cars Ltd, and exported to the UK in 2015 by Mike Lester of QV London, the Windsor based Ferrari specialist.

Interestingly, the owners of QV worked in Melbourne in the 1970’s and once back in the UK many years later decided to embark on a project to restore an Australian wet sump car, and this 308 was chosen via their contacts here. The vehicle still has the original service book and owners manuals with a leather owners wallet.

The restoration has been done to the highest level with no expense spared. Gracing the front cover of Classic & Sportscar Magazine – January 2020 edition, a detailed feature on the car can be viewed here.

Returned to Australia in 2020 by its current owner, this Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina represents the very first of an iconic line of mid-engined V8s to wear the “Prancing Horse,” making it a rare opportunity indeed.

With invoices from McIntosh Autofarm totalling over $57,000 in the past two years, this 308 has been meticulously maintained and presents in showroom condition.

Currently stored at our secure facility, the car is available for immediate inspection and can be registered on either standard or historic plates in your state.
