The Ferrari 458 Challenge represents the competition-focused development of the already exceptional 458 platform, created specifically for Ferrari’s one-make Challenge racing series.

Powered by Ferrari’s 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, the Challenge combines the character and performance of one of Ferrari’s finest modern engines with significant weight reduction, competition suspension, centre-lock wheels, upgraded braking and a stripped, purpose-built racing cockpit.

This particular example has travelled approximately 9,500 km and has been well maintained throughout its life. Importantly, it has also benefited from a replacement gearbox fitted approximately 500 km ago.

Further enhancing the package is the later Challenge Evo specification, which introduced an extensively developed aerodynamic package designed to increase downforce and improve high-speed stability. Together with its adjustable race suspension, integrated roll cage and factory competition electronics, the Evo package makes the 458 Challenge an exceptionally capable and engaging track car.

This example is offered with two sets of wheels and retains the key equipment expected of a genuine factory Challenge car, including its competition seat and harness, race-specification controls and factory data acquisition system.

The 458 Challenge occupies a particularly interesting place in Ferrari’s competition-car history. Its naturally aspirated V8, responsive chassis and relative simplicity compared with the turbocharged generation that followed give it a character and immediacy that remains particularly rewarding on circuit.

With approximately 9,500 km travelled, a gearbox that has covered only around 500 km since replacement, and two sets of wheels, this represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a genuine factory-built Ferrari competition car that can continue to be enjoyed as intended.
